Range of $120,000 - $160,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

** Oklahoma City, OK The Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General is currently seeking a full-time employee to serve as Director of Information Technology.

* Position Summary:
** Oklahoma law establishes the Attorney General as the state’s chief law officer and requires the office to seek justice for the people of Oklahoma by upholding the rule of law; serving public safety through prosecutions and civil enforcement actions; providing high-quality legal representation for the state agencies; and protecting and defending the Oklahoma and U.S. constitutions. This position will oversee all aspects of information technology for the office, ensuring secure, efficient, and innovative technology solutions that support our mission to serve justice and protect the citizens of our state.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, department heads, and external stakeholders to drive digital transformation while maintaining the highest standards of security and data security compliance.

* Minimum Qualifications:
**** Education & Experience*
* · Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, related field, or demonstrable relevant work history
· Minimum 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience with at least 5 years in executive-level roles
· Demonstrated experience leading IT operations in complex, multi-site organizations
** Technical Expertise*
* · Deep knowledge of current and emerging technologies including cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics, and enterprise systems
· Experience with legal technology platforms, case management systems, and e-discovery tools
· Understanding of enterprise architecture, infrastructure management, and IT service delivery
· Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance requirements, and risk management
** Leadership & Management*
* · Proven track record of leading large IT teams and managing substantial technology budgets
· Experience with organizational change management and technology transformation projects
· Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills
· Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
** Preferences Given to Candidates who can demonstrate the following:
**** Industry Experience*
* · Previous experience working in law firms, legal departments, or law-related industries
· Familiarity with legal workflows, court systems, and attorney work processes
· Understanding of law enforcement technology needs and prosecutor operations
** Government & Public Sector*
* · Experience working with state agencies, government entities, or public sector organizations
· Knowledge of state procurement processes, compliance requirements, and budget cycles
