Meaningful Work and Personal ImpactAs a Network Operations Center(NOC) Performance Monitoring Lead, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the US Air Force and our BIM customers. You will play a crucial role in helping modernize Air Force Bases infrastructure providing monitoring solutions to reduce network downtime and enhance the customer experience at each base.
- Lead/Manage/Support:
You will be the lead Performance Monitoring SME to interface with our BIM team and the customer to integrate tools and establish reporting dashboards. - Collaborate with BIM Engineering, Design and Site teams to build, integrate and enhance the BIM monitoring solution.
Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Performance Monitoring Specialist Principal must have:
- Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
- Experience: 5+ years of related experience
- NOC/SOC – you’ve been in the trenches and know what works
- General networking concepts (OSI Model/VPN/Topologies/Router functions…etc)
- Incident management expertise with a track record of managing complex, multi‑team responses
- Scripting abilities for automation and efficiency improvements
- Define and customize aggregation rules and KPIs/KQIs
- Domain concepts, and knowledge how to configure the target service and network components for the specific project case: L3 VPN
- Practical experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic, and others) is mandatory
- Use the GUI capabilities to create and customize dashboards and reports
- Define and update anomaly‑detection and forecasting rules
DoD Secret Level Clearance required.
Required CertificationsMust meet DOD 8570 or DOD 8140 equivalent requirements and be eligible for IAT level II access upon hire for positions with elevated privileges. Requirements include possessing and maintaining Security Plus CE. Additional specific certifications may be required, depending on job assignment.
RequiredSkills and Abilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills applied to the development and presentation of technical materials appropriate to a broad spectrum of audiences.
- Adept at interfacing with Government at senior leader levels and representing the interests of GDIT.

HPE vTeMIP, HPE Service Orchestrator and HPE Intelligent Assurance solutions knowledge is a plus, ITIL V3/4 Foundation or higher.
Oklahoma City, OK (position may start remote and move onsite).

Salary and Benefit InformationThe likely salary range for this position is $91,800 - $124,200. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
