Financial Reporting Analyst

Job Description

Insight Global is searching for a Financial Reporting Analyst to join a large oil and gas company in Oklahoma City, OK. In this role, you will analyze existing datasets and reports to assess remediation impact, help architect future‑state datasets and reporting solutions, and create new datasets and reports or remediate existing ones to align with enterprise requirements. You will work extensively with Oil & Gas financial data and leverage advanced SQL, intermediate Python, and strong data modeling and dataset development skills.

Familiarity with SAP (S/4 preferred), Databricks notebooks, jobs, and pipelines is essential, along with proficiency in reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI and Spotfire. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of relevant experience, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. This position requires critical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills while delivering high‑quality reporting solutions.

$70-75/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
