Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY: This part-time position is responsible for assisting the Help Desk Technician in providing IT support and assistance to end users. This includes answering help desk calls, troubleshooting, and resolving related IT issues. The role will also involve assisting in general IT projects as assigned.
Essential Job FunctionsEducation/Experience:
- 6 months experience troubleshooting PC/software related issues.
- 1 year of IT Help Desk experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills, preferably in a retail environment.
- IT Certification strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN connections, local printers, cable installation helpful.
- Knowledge of PC repair.
- Strong knowledge of all Microsoft applications.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Dependability demonstrated through good attendance and adherence to timelines and schedules.
- Good follow-through on projects and deliverables.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Resourcefulness and initiative in project development and completion.
