Position: : Talent Acquisition Coordinator (Entry-Level)

Firetrol Protection Systems is a leading provider of fire protection and life safety services. We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our team and support our recruitment processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition.

Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be responsible for tasks related to recruitment and talent acquisition, including, but not limited to:

  • Develop understanding of skills and attributes required for candidates in the fire and life safety industry.
  • Assist with job postings and advertising.
  • Review applicants and evaluate for basic qualifications.
  • Source, contact, and recruit passive candidates.
  • Conduct initial phone screens with candidates. May spend up to 4-6 hours or more on the phone or Teams calls in a day.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Log touchpoints with candidates and manage candidate records in applicant tracking system.
  • Assist with recruitment events and career fairs.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Talent Acquisition Director.

The ideal candidate for this role is eager to learn, has excellent communication skills, and can manage competing priorities and shifting schedules. We provide comprehensive training to help you succeed in this role.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong organization and time management skills; can manage multiple deadlines and high volume of requisitions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to interact with candidates and managers in a clear, concise and professional manner.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Customer service-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • This is a full-time onsite (in office) role.
  • Some after-hours work to meet candidate availability or other business needs.
  • No previous experience in talent acquisition or HR required—we're looking for the right attitude and willingness to learn!
