An amazing company in Oklahoma City is needing to add a HRIS Analyst to their team. The HRIS Analyst supports and enhances HR systems, reporting, and data analytics to drive informed decision-making across the organization. This role partners closely with HR, IT, and business leaders to ensure data accuracy, system efficiency, and actionable insights—particularly through advanced Excel modeling and Power BI dashboards.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR systems reporting and analytics, ensuring accurate, timely, and actionable data delivery
  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards to track key HR metrics including headcount, turnover, diversity, compensation, performance, and workforce trends
  • Develop and maintain complex Excel-based models and tools using advanced formulas, Power Query, pivot tables, and macros to support HR decision-making
  • Extract, transform, and validate HR data from multiple sources to ensure consistency and data integrity across reports and dashboards
  • Partner with HR leaders to gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes using Power BI, Excel, and system workflows
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
  • Support HRIS configuration changes, system enhancements, testing, and upgrades to ensure reporting accuracy
  • Document reporting logic, data definitions, and standard operating procedures
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and internal governance standards
  • Provide end-user training and support for HR reporting tools and dashboards
  • Respond to ad hoc data requests while balancing recurring reporting priorities
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in an HRIS Analyst, HR Data Analyst, or similar role
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboard design)
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (Power Query, pivot tables, complex formulas; VBA a plus)
  • Experience using HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, UKG, ADP, Paycom, or similar)
  • Experience working with large, complex HR datasets
  • Strong understanding of HR processes (compensation, headcount, turnover, benefits, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
