OU Health, Oklahoma’s flagship academic health system, is seeking a high-caliber Director, HR Business Partners (HRBP) – Corporate Services. In this pivotal leadership role, you will serve as a cultural anchor, driving strategic people and culture initiatives that ensure high employee engagement and a relentless focus on excellence across our corporate functions.

You will act as a premier strategic partner to executive and senior leadership, influencing the development of programs and policies that align human capital with overall business strategy. As an expert in performance management, organizational development, and change leadership, you will guide our corporate teams through transformation while mentoring a high-performing team of HR Business Partners.

General Description:

The Director HR Business Partner (HRBP) will embrace the shared responsibility required for leading Strategic People and Culture initiatives, champion the “OU Health Way” to serve as a cultural anchor to consistency delivery high employee engagement, ensure there is requisite top talent to meet our organizational needs, and will be driven by relentless focus on excellence.

Primarily responsible for serving as a strategic partner with executive/senior leaders to build organizational capability through influencing and guiding the development and deployment of strategies, programs, policies, and procedures, ensuring human resources support activities are aligned with the overall business strategy, and overseeing the implementation of organizational change efforts. Viewed as a leader and expert in all functional areas of Human Resources with an emphasis on performance management, transformation and change management, talent management, employee relations, and organizational development.

Responsible for operational success, strategic alignment and integration of activities with other HR and organizational functions. Leads a team of HR Business Partners and is fully accountable for the success of the designated function or department.

  • Develops and implements strategy for the HRBP team’s service delivery, setting and maintaining a roadmap for team development that supports the needs of the organization.

  • Distribute work among team members (including self, this role will also execute project deliverables), set expectations, drive accountability, and deliver projects with excellence.
