Addison Group is partnering with one of our clients to identify an experienced HRIS Specialist to support and enhance their human resources systems and reporting functions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring HR data accuracy, system efficiency, and meaningful analytics to support business and compliance needs.

The HRIS Specialist will oversee the day-to-day operation of the organization’s HR information system, serving as a subject matter expert for data management, reporting, and system optimization. This individual will collaborate closely with HR and IT teams to improve processes, support end users, and ensure the integrity of employee data.

• Manage and maintain HRIS data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance
• Act as the primary owner of HRIS reporting tools, configurations, and dashboards
• Design and deliver recurring and ad-hoc reports to support audits, leadership requests, and strategic initiatives
• Provide system support, user training, and troubleshooting for HRIS-related issues
• Partner with HR and IT stakeholders to enhance workflows and streamline system functionality
• Build and optimize reports within the HRIS business intelligence environment
• Perform routine audits across HR functions such as payroll, onboarding, benefits, and retirement plans
• Track and follow up on HRIS service requests, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication
• Establish and maintain audit schedules to routinely validate HR data integrity
• Assist with additional HRIS or data-related projects as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
• Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, including extensive report creation and data manipulation
• Prior experience with UKG systems strongly preferred; experience with other HRIS platforms considered
• Demonstrated ability to analyze HR data and translate it into actionable insights
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot system-related issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, IF statements) and macros
• Experience with reporting and analytics tools; familiarity with Microsoft Fabric (formerly Power BI) a plus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Highly organized with strong follow-through and time management skills
