The Role
The Banquet Set-Up team member is responsible for setting tables and chairs for events, tearing down rooms at the conclusion of the event, and supporting the banquet service team with any other needs. Additionally, they will maintain the cleanliness of all the meeting space and ensure all equipment is properly stored and maintained.
What You Will Be Doing- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Know food preparation and service
- Report all unsafe conditions immediately
- Set up banquet rooms for functions (chairs, tables, linens, etc.)
- Solve unusual customer requests creatively
- Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor to include cross training
The Role
- High School Diploma required
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Good communication skills;
Able to speak and understand English - Customer centric approach in dealing with the public and co-workers
- Physically able to move tables, chairs, chafing dishes, staging, and operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners
