** About the role
** The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests.
** What you will be doing:
*** Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards, including bathrooms, furniture, fixtures, floors and all components of the guest room.
* Change linens and re-stock supplies in each room.
* Complete all pre and post cleaning duties including preparing guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
* Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day's use.
* Report all missing items from room (i.e., irons/boards, hair dryers, etc.) to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
* Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
* Handle items for “Lost and Found” according to the standards
* Maintain work area neat and organized.
* Clean all guestrooms in the prescribed manner while following safety and security procedures and regulations.
* Report all unsafe conditions immediately.
* Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor
** What you bring to the role:
*** Previous experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Physically able to move objects such as housekeeping carts & vacuum cleaners; capable of operating vacuum cleaners.
* Ability to stand and be mobile for most of an 8 hour shift.
* Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and written with employees and guests in an attentive,…
