The Role
The Banquet Bartender serves drinks, prepares cocktails, and creates a welcoming environment for guests during all banquet events in the resort’s meeting space. fordert The role requires an engaging personality, a solid knowledge of drink recipes, adherence to portion control, and compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations, including liquor laws and safety procedures.
What You Will Be Doing- Be present at the bar at all times.
- Display knowledge of basic drink service and bar terminology.
- Know drink recipes, drink and wine specials, and merchandising.
- Understand liquor laws and third‑party liability.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Prepare and serve cocktail orders promptly.
- Report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Follow all internal audit procedures.
- Clean bar, bar walk‑ins and liquor storage areas as assigned.
- Set lounge and hors d’oeuvre tables as assigned.
- Stock bars at wells as assigned.
- Attend required meetings.
- Balance bank and daily receipts.
- Check guests for proper identification.
- Detect and act upon customer inebriation as trained.
- Fill requisitions to par levels.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor, including cross‑training.
The Role
- High school diploma (required); mixology courses and certifications preferred.
- Previous experience as a bartender in a full‑service restaurant or bar.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with bar customers and resort associates.
- Relevant
NX certifications for food handling & serving alcohol; any state required licensing. - Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Computer proficiency to use the resort’s point‑of‑sale system.
