The Role
The Front Desk Agent is a client‑facing position that manages registration and departure interactions with resort guests. As the front‑line face of the resort, you will welcome guests, facilitate a smooth registration process, assign rooms, distribute keys, explain hotel services, and assist with any needs during their stay.
What You Will Be Doing- Answer guest questions and offer information and assistance.
- Answer telephones according to Pyramid Global Hospitality standards.
- Check guests in and out.
- Communicate with other departments to fulfill guest needs.
- Maintain the work area neat and organized.
- Secure and manage keys.
- Report all unsafe conditions immediately.
- Update information in computer systems as required (e.g., posting charges).
- Complete additional duties as assigned, including cross‑training.
- Attend all mandatory meetings.
- Follow checkout and check‑in checklists and timelines.
- Process personal and traveler’s checks and handle safe deposit boxes.
- Read and pass on logs to the next shift.
- Run and complete reports (e.g., high balance, cash basis).
- Other duties as assigned.
The Role
- High School diploma is required; college degree preferred.
- Previous Front Desk experience beneficial; preferably in a hotel/resort. Any client‑facing customer service role is also acceptable.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills; able to read and explain guest charges on folios.
- Customer‑centric attitude.
- Computer proficiency to learn and utilize the resort’s property management system.
