Overview

Administrative Programs Manager II – Family Centered Substance Use Treatment. About the Position:
The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) is seeking an Administrative Programs Manager II within the Addiction Services Division to support the statewide implementation and quality of family-centered substance use disorder (SUD) treatment, with a focus on services for families, pregnant women, and women with dependent children. This role provides operational support to ODMHSAS-contracted providers implementing gender-responsive and family-centered treatment models, including Women’s Liaison roles.

The position works closely with providers to support evidence-based practices, address implementation challenges, and ensure alignment with ODMHSAS priorities, federal requirements, and best practices. The position also collaborates with Family Treatment Courts and other deprived courts to strengthen family-centered treatment approaches, including participation in Family Treatment Court Implementation Tool (FIT) site reviews. Additional duties include preparing reports, developing guidance and tools, supporting trainings and site visits, and representing the division in related meetings.

This role is critical to advancing family-centered treatment priorities and ensuring consistent, high-quality care for pregnant and parenting individuals across treatment and court settings.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
  • A master’s degree in behavioral health, public health, social work, criminal justice, public administration, or a closely related field, or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience in substance use treatment, behavioral health services, or family-centered systems
  • Experience working with family-centered treatment models, Women-with-Children programs, pregnant and parenting populations, or court-involved systems (including Family Treatment Courts or deprived courts) is preferred.
  • NOTE:

    No substitution will be allowed for education below bachelor’s degree.

Preference may be given to those with a current professional counseling license as well as project management and/or supervisory experience.
