Director - Imaging Services

Under the direction of the Executive Director of Oncology and Imaging Services, the Imaging Services Director is responsible for managing and directing all areas of Imaging Services as shown on the Imaging organizational chart.

Responsibilities
  • Administration and management of all imaging service areas.
  • Provision of leadership, supervision, and evaluation of all staff.
  • General planning, management, and development of all imaging related services.
  • Coordination of service areas with other sections of the Health System to meet the needs of patients, staff, and hospital for inpatient and outpatient imaging services across the health campus.
  • Collaboration with Radiologists to resolve problems and plan improvements to the service/department within the Physicians and Clinics.
  • Oversight of many system initiatives, requiring coordination with Rural Hospitals and clinics as well as collaboration with the School of Radiology.
  • Participation on committees as necessary to assure that areas of specialty are properly addressed (e.g., Radiation Safety Committee, Radiology Section Committee, Specialty Councils).
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Graduate of approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Preferred Education:

    Graduate degree preferred with emphasis on health or business administration.
  • Licensure:
    Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in the state of practice.
  • Experience:

    Five years’ management experience, working in a large healthcare organization.
