Shift: Thursday Thursday, show up at 5p (hand off) 7p 7a weeknight call, start in-house Friday 7a-7pCall: 7p 7aPatient volume: 10-15 patients per day (mix of new patients and follow
-up) Hospitalist does admissions On average 2-7 new consults per day Scope:
Bread and butter Neuro-Hospitalist work rounding, new consults, follow up, (must do EEGs) No APP supervision EEGs are done 24/7 rare that one is done at night, but there are 1-2 per week (30min routine EEG) No Epilepsy monitoring, average of 2-4 EEGs per day (on a busy day could be as many as 10 EEGs/day) Not responsible for running codes.
EMR:
Meditech Group/support: 1-2 Neuro providers on hand for backup
