The Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician performs and interprets analysis on patient specimens using complex laboratory techniques, providing medical staff with information to aid in patient diagnosis. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

• Education:
  
  Associate degree in a major acceptable to a certification agency for MLT
• Certification/Registration: MLT ASCP or equivalent

OR

• Associate degree with MLT ASCP certification & 3 years clinical experience
• Approved Military Training (if applicable)

  MT or MLS (ASCP) or equivalent required
