Job Details:
• Entry-level position working under immediate to general supervision and direction of a mentor/preceptor
• Call required for evening and weekend rotation
• Level 1 travel experience needed
• Minimum 2 recent years of experience in catheterization lab required
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders
• Perform diverse range of diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures including STEMI, Shock, VAD, ECMO, and Structural Heart procedures
• Operate specialized cardiovascular equipment including Phillips systems with new Siemens imaging equipment being added
• Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure completion and quality standards
• Transfer images and data to archival systems using Epic documentation and Xper hemosystem
• Perform quality control checks, cleaning, and equipment maintenance per manufacturer guidelines
• Work with adult and pediatric patient populations in acute inpatient and outpatient settings
• Associate's degree required from CAAHEP accredited cardiovascular program, JRCERT accredited radiologic technology program, or Paramedic training completion
• AHA BLS certification required
• Must obtain ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) certification within 12 months of hire or complete Paramedic training program within 12 months
• ARRT R certification will be considered
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
