Travel is occasional. Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance.
PreferredMinimum Qualifications
- A master’s degree and three years of professional experience in social work, child support, adult protective services, child welfare, early childhood development and education, guidance and counseling, nursing, intellectual disability, probation and parole, public administration, community-based prevention and diversionary youth services programs, juvenile justice, rehabilitation counseling, vocational evaluation or vocational rehabilitation;
- OR an equivalent combination of experience and, substituting 1 additional year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education.
- Professional experience in the fields listed must have been the primary job responsibility to be considered as qualifying. Incidental performance of professional work in any area(s) shall not be considered
- The Programs Field Representative position is responsible for providing oversight, coordination, and technical assistance for multiple family strengthening and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Work programs and contracts
- This position focuses on expanding and maintaining TANF Work initiatives that support the state’s benefit programs and promote economic stability for Oklahoma families
- Collaborates with community partners, contractors, and agency staff to implement and enhance TANF Work programs, including Work Ready Oklahoma, and family strengthening initiatives such as Parenting Inside Out
- Assists in the development, implementation, and maintenance of TANF Work activities and related family support programs to ensure program effectiveness and compliance with federal and state requirements.
- Participates in the development and revision of policies and procedures related to TANF Work and family strengthening programs.
- Provides technical assistance, training, and guidance to field staff, agency personnel, and community partners regarding TANF policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Assists in the preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), including drafting program descriptions, performance measures, and evaluation criteria
- Monitors caseload and program activity reports to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.
- Supports the preparation of the TANF State Plan, required federal reporting, and related program documentation
- Conducts on-site monitoring visits, contract evaluations, and partner meetings to assess program performance and adherence to contract requirements
- Compiles data and prepares reports as requested by program leadership
- Travel is required to conduct site visits, attend meetings, and participate in conferences as necessary.
Preference may be given to applicants with Supervisory experience.
