FP&A at Coinbase isn't your typical finance role—we're strategic partners deeply embedded within the business. We collaborate with leaders across every level and function, providing the critical financial insights that shape decisions.

We are seeking a Finance & Strategy Manager to serve as the strategic finance partner to Consumer product leadership, shaping resource allocation, investment strategy, and long-term financial planning.

• Be the primary OpEx partner for the Consumer business, partnering with product, engineering, design and operations leadership
• Advise on resource allocation, investment decisions, headcount planning, and spending trade-offs
• Own end-to-end financial planning, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for your portfolio
• Lead month-end close and reporting, delivering executive-facing variance commentary and materials for business reviews

• 7+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, or similar fast-paced finance environment
• Track record managing large-scale OpEx budgets (headcount, marketing, product operations) across multiple cost centers
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders on resource allocation and investment decisions
• Ability to distill complex financial analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership
• Advanced financial modeling, SQL for data analysis, and experience with planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, Net Suite)
• Self-starter with passion for operational efficiency and leveraging automation or AI to improve processes

• Experience in a high-growth tech environment, Fin Tech, or financial services
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau)
• Enthusiasm for crypto and Coinbase's mission

Depending on your work location, the target annual base salary for this position can range as detailed below. Total compensation may also include equity and bonus eligibility and benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).

Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus):

$166,345—$195,700 USD
