Job Description & How to Apply Below

First Turn Capital is a boutique investment bank and registered broker-dealer focused on lower middle market M&A. We advise privately held companies across the Southern US on sell-side and buy-side transactions, recapitalizations, growth capital, and debt restructuring. Our core sectors include industrial services, construction, oilfield services, utilities, manufacturing, and trucking & logistics.

Role Description

The Summer Analyst Intern role is a full-time, in-person position based in Oklahoma City for Summer 2026. This is not a passive internship. You will work directly alongside senior leadership on live M&A transactions, gaining hands-on experience that many analysts at larger firms do not see until well into their first year. Day to day, you will support valuation work, marketing materials, industry research, buyer outreach, and due diligence across multiple active engagements.

What

You’ll Do
  • Build and refine financial models, including DCFs, comparable company analyses, and valuation summaries
  • Support creation of Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), teasers, and management presentations
  • Conduct industry and market research, buyer/investor outreach, and assist with due diligence on active transactions
  • Organize and manage data rooms, compile due diligence materials, and support quality of earnings processes
  • Handle a wide range of day-to-day deal support tasks across multiple live mandates
Who We’re Looking For
  • Rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Strong Excel skills, high attention to detail, and a genuine self-starter mentality
  • Demonstrated interest in M&A, corporate finance, or private equity; curiosity matters more than a perfect resume
  • Experience using AI tools (for research, analysis, or productivity) is greatly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment
What You’ll Get
  • Direct mentorship from a founder who built, scaled, and exited his own company
  • Real transaction exposure on live deals, not simulations or case studies
  • A professional network spanning investment banking, private equity, and the Oklahoma City deal community
