Base pay range$50,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr
LocationWater4 Office in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. No Remote Applications will be considered or reviewed.
Position summaryThe Staff Accountant reports directly to the head of the Finance department, working closely to complete the daily tasks required.
Responsibilities- General Ledger Management
- Assisting in Close and Financial Reporting Process
- Revenue and Expense Recording
- Bank Deposits, Verification, and Reconciliation (as separation of duties allows)
- Audit, Grant, and Compliance Support
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, non-profit preferred.
- Experience in multi-entity or international nonprofit/business structures strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with accounting systems (e.g., Quick Books Enterprise, Sage Intacct) and advanced Excel or financial modeling tools.
- Demonstrated leadership of high-performing teams and cross-functional collaboration.
- Financial and strategic leadership in complex, multi-entity or international organizations.
- Deep expertise in GAAP, audits, compliance, and multi-currency financial management.
- Excellent analytical, modeling, and forecasting skills with strong data visualization capability.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and board-level presentation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and high integrity in stewarding resources.
- Job knowledge - Demonstrates knowledge of purposes, objectives, practices and procedures required to perform the job.
- Productivity - Produces a volume of work consistent with the normal requirements of the job.
