Your

Key Responsibilities

You’ll support client consultations and challenge the unclaimed property and escheat approach for optimal effectiveness. You’ll develop strong relationships with clients and collaborate with internal resources. You’ll implement your knowledge of unclaimed property concepts and requirements in a highly collaborative culture where listening to and sharing information with colleagues is essential.

Skills and ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS
  • Contributing to client satisfaction by providing timely and responsive services and work products
  • Staying informed of current technical developments and applying knowledge to client situations
  • Thoroughly and accurately analyzing information; preparing practical approaches to the client's unclaimed property situation and arriving at appropriate conclusions
  • Demonstrating an understanding of increasingly complex unclaimed property concepts
  • Participating in and contributing to achieving team goals
To qualify for the role, you must have
  • A bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related work experience
  • Technical experience related to compliance, audit defense and consulting for abandoned and unclaimed property services
  • Performance and process advisory experience related to unclaimed property compliance
  • Broad exposure to state and local taxation
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and verbal/written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed, and work in a balanced hybrid environment
Ideally, you’ll also have
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant unclaimed property consulting experience within a professional services environment
  • Ability to obtain CPA certification, US Bar membership, or professional designation from the IPT

  • A comprehensive compensation and benefits package, with base salary ranging from $81,700 to $135,000 nationwide and $98,100 to $153,500 for certain metro areas. Additional benefits include medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and paid time off options.
