As a Seasonal Real Estate Tax Senior Manager, we will look to you to apply your knowledge to a wide range of tax areas and processes, devising strategic outcomes to some very complex issues. Key Responsibilities

There isn’t an average day for a Seasonal Real Estate Tax Senior Manager – you’re likely to spend your time on a variety of tax planning projects, responsibilities and tasks for a diverse client base. You will be leading teams and working in a highly collaborative culture, where listening to and sharing information with colleagues is an essential part of the role.

We’re looking for individuals who are proactive, capable of handling complex data, and able to build trusted advisor relationships. You will need strong software skills and the ability to handle complex data from multiple sources. This role requires credibility as a professional advisor and the ability to develop and deliver strategic tax advice.

Responsibilities
  • Analyzing an evolving portfolio of increasingly complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights.
  • Identifying potential opportunities and risks and communicating these to our clients.
  • Learning and researching current market trends for credibility as a trusted advisor.
  • Building client relationships and demonstrating deep knowledge of the real estate, hospitality and construction industry.
  • Developing clear, intelligent plans to improve clients' tax activities.
  • Researching clients' business operations and tailoring advice to their specific needs.
  • Supervising a motivated team of professionals, ensuring they have the skills, knowledge and opportunities to reach their full potential.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline.
  • Seven to ten years of real estate tax experience in a professional services environment.
  • Extensive knowledge in a broad range of real estate tax technical and transaction skills, including partnership taxation, REIT taxation and qualification, partnership allocations, tax compliance, due diligence, acquisition/disposition planning and structuring.
  • Experience managing budgets, people and projects.
  • Business development within the market.
  • A proven record of excellence in a professional services or tax organization.
  • Technical writing and research experience in a tax context.
  • Ability to prioritize when working on multiple complex projects.
  • Strong influencing skills and the confidence to question existing processes.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, and ability to work in a balanced hybrid environment.
You'll also have
  • CPA qualification or be a member of a state bar.

The salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $120/hr to $150/hr individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
