Role DescriptionWe are seeking a full-time Technician to join our team on-site in Oklahoma City, OK. This role involves assisting with geotechnical investigations, conducting soil and material testing, preparing reports, and maintaining testing equipment. The Technician will work closely with engineers, perform fieldwork, and ensure compliance with safety and operational guidelines in all assigned tasks.
Qualifications- Knowledge of soil and rock analysis, subsurface investigations, and material testing processes
- Ability to operate testing equipment, document results accurately, and prepare technical reports
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and willingness to ensure safety standards are adhered to during fieldwork
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Capability to work in an outdoor environment and perform physically demanding tasks
- Effective communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate on projects
- An associate or bachelor's degree in engineering technology, geology, or a related field is preferred
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to project sites
- Previous experience in geotechnical engineering or construction is an advantage
