The F135 HMC Quality team is seeking a highly talented and motivated Quality Engineer to join our team.  The F135 HMC performs Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul of the F135 Engine in a public / private partnership with the US Air Force.

* What You Will Do:

*** The selected candidate must be able to work closely with Quality Inspectors, Process & Methods Engineers, Operations Team to support MRO Operations.
* Demonstrate a high level of customer focus, business judgment and teamwork.
* Demonstrated ability to interface and lead cross functional teams.
* Communicate with various levels of management, business partners and supply base.
* Collect and analyze data to minimize workflow disruptions and eliminate nonconformances/escapes.
* Lead the investigation of quality related work stops and turn-backs using Quality Improvement tools such as Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Process Analysis support and facilitate investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions while preventing future recurrence.
* Manage escapes and investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions while preventing future recurrence.

* Lead Quality System, process, and product audits.
* Assist 3rd Party Audits as required.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
* Generate and modify applicable Quality System documentation to ensure processes and requirements are clearly defined.
** Qualifications You Must Have:
*** Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline or business field or relevant experience required and 8 years of Quality Assurance and/or related experience, or Advanced Degree in a related field and 5 years of Quality Assurance and/or related experience.
* This is an onsite position working at our Midwest City, Oklahoma location.
* Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance.
* Travel up to 10%.
* MS Office proficiency:
Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
* Experience with AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality systems.
** Qualifications We Prefer:
*** Knowledge, proficiency in quality tools such as PFMEA, DFMEA, GR&R, GD&T elements, etc.
* Practical CORE/Six Sigma experience or Lean Systems experience a plus.
* Experience in ERP systems such as SAP and Solumina.
* High energy, dynamic individual who strives for continuous improvement.
* Jet Engine Manufacturing/Assembly/Overhaul experience.
