Principal / Sr. Principal Reliability Systems Engineer - R-4

Travel: Yes, 10% of the time.
SecurityClearance: Secret (required). Possession of a Top Secret clearance or the ability to obtain it within a reasonable timeframe is required.

Key Responsibilities- Design for reliability and maintainability.
- Maintain a working knowledge of complex systems, their inputs/outputs, functionality, failure modes, fault codes and architectures.
- Perform reliability, maintainability and availability predictions, allocations, and requirements verification & validation.
- Execute FMECA, BIT, Testability analyses, FTA, RBD, FRACAS, failure analysis, risk assessment, RGA, Weibull analysis, RCM, Monte Carlo simulation.
- Support test activities: BIT design verification, maintainability demonstrations, HALT, and RGT.
- Assist in identifying, planning and quoting RMT tasks for proposals.
- Collaborate with Integrated Technical Teams, program management, customers and suppliers on RM&T aspects of assigned systems, influencing high‑level design decisions.
- B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related STEM discipline with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or M.S. STEM degree with 3 years of engineering experience.
- Demonstrated experience in reliability engineering.
- Active Secret DoD security clearance.
- Capability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance and program access within a reasonable period.
- B.S. in the same fields with at least 8 years of experience; or M.S. STEM with 6 years of engineering experience.
- Demonstrated experience in reliability engineering.
- Active Secret DoD security clearance.
- Capability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance and program access within a reasonable period.
- Experience using reliability analysis software (Reliasoft preferred).
- Experience in logistics support elements such as LSA, Mod Sim, SEE, PHM, SLO, obsolescence management, training systems, technical data, support hardware, fleet & field support, or product support management.
- Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) certification.
- Active DoD Top Secret and required SAP/SCI clearances.

CompensationPrimary Level Salary Range: $114,000 – $171,000.
Secondary Level Salary Range: $142,200 – $213,400.
