This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.
The Boeing Company is seeking a broad range of experience levels including;
Associate, Experienced and Senior Level Manufacturing Engineers who will provide engineering support to the B-52 Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP). This position will be physically located in Oklahoma City, OK.
- Work with the team to create, revise, and review build plans and installation plans for the B-52J Commercial Reengine Program.
- Possess experience and knowledge of manufacturing methods, fabrication processes (e.g., forming, stamping, machining, heat treatment, machines/machine tools, cutting tools and fluids, instrumentation, data acquisition, and control systems).
- Create work instructions for installing components, systems, and other assemblies.
- Create, revise, and maintain production and manufacturing process documents and training materials.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with industry standards.
- Conduct routine data analysis to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement.
- Follow procedures, publication standards, and government/customer specifications for authoring.
- Maintain data in web-based or online tools.
- Collaborate with the project team, subject matter experts, and utilize existing documentation to understand content needs.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members during project execution.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, maintaining a positive demeanor and high ethics.
- Proactively seek information and direction to complete the work successfully. Meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Perform detailed analysis and interpretation of source data (e.g., engineering drawings, modifications) to understand their impact on the product.
- Work collaboratively with a multi-functional team and be willing to work flexible hours to collaborate globally.
- Maintain awareness of AS9100 D quality management system and ensure compliance.
- Resolve technical problems impacting performance, cost, or schedule.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners to execute collaborative plans.
- Apply good analytical problem-solving approaches, driving innovation with speed and agility.

GOLDesp, CATIAV5, IVT, PowerPoint, Manufacturing Readiness Assessments, Program Manufacturing Plan, EBOM/MBOM reconciliation, MANTIS, ADO, CMPRO
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):One or more years working with aircraft wiring, structures, or systems installations and planning.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):- 3+ years of work experience in aircraft modifications.
- Experience with producibility reviews.
- Experience with installation work instructions.
- Experience troubleshooting complex issues.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
Experience:
Level 3:
Typically 5+ years' related work experience or an advanced technical education (Bachelor's or higher in engineering, computer science, etc.).
First shift
Pay Rate Range:Min: $58.96, Max: $63.25 USD/hour
