Position Overview
At Boeing, we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better place. The Product Support Engineering (Associate or Mid-Level) position in Oklahoma City, OK will provide sustainment and modification support to the USAF to maintain the fleet of Boeing 747 aircraft.
Position Responsibilities- Review engineering drawings to determine part effectivity and applicability, engage with Boeing Commercial Service Engineering to document part usage on the fleet.
- Be part of a multidisciplinary and cross‑geographical team to ensure customer contractual requirements are met.
- Prepare routine communications and presentation material for internal and external customers.
- Evaluate engineering changes based on customer requirements, propose program changes and manage implementation.
- Maintain awareness of operational activities and aircraft on the ground maintenance events.
- Provide support for operator recovery plans for operational disruptions due to scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
- Conduct research on advanced technical, operational and quality issues.
- Define, evaluate and maintain engineering supportability, operability and maintainability requirements for products, systems and programs.
- Research and analyze systems and components to identify issues and corrective actions.
- Support a wide range of technical and operational issues associated with depot maintenance and repair.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non‑US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
- 1+ years of experience in reading and interpreting technical publications and/or maintenance manuals.
- 2+ years of experience working with aircraft drawings, specifically commercial derivative aircraft.
- Experience on 747 aircraft, specifically USAF 747 fleets.
Associate‑Level: $68,000 – $92,000
Mid‑Level: $82,450 – $111,550
