Position Summary:The Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager will lead the planning, design, and execution of complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects while supporting business development efforts and mentoring technical staff in the Oklahoma City office. This role serves as a trusted advisor to municipal and utility clients and plays a key role in strengthening long‑term client relationships.
Essential Job Functions:- Serve as the primary point of contact for water and wastewater clients across Oklahoma.
- Lead business development efforts, including strategy development, pursuit planning, and proposal support for new and existing clients.
- Act as Project Manager for large, complex, multi‑disciplinary projects including water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, sewer rehabilitation, and water transmission and distribution systems.
- Provide technical leadership and oversight to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
- Mentor and support early‑career engineers, scientists, and consultants within the Oklahoma City office.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to support operational and strategic goals.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Oklahoma, or ability to obtain within six (6) months of employment.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive project management experience in water and wastewater engineering.
- Demonstrated experience developing client relationships and successfully pursuing and delivering projects.
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience with junior engineering staff.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work regularly in the Oklahoma City office.
- Experience working with municipal or utility clients in Oklahoma or the surrounding region.
- Experience managing multi‑disciplinary engineering teams on large capital improvement projects.
- Familiarity with state and local regulatory requirements for water and wastewater infrastructure.
- Ability to perform work in office and field settings, including occasional site visits.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform light to moderate physical activity for extended periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry materials or equipment up to 25 pounds.
- Primarily an office‑based work environment with periodic field visits to project sites.
- Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions during site visits.
- Moderate noise levels may be present during field activities.
