SEN Teaching Assistant – Lincoln
Lincoln, Lincolnshire

Full-Time | Monday – Friday
GSL Education are currently recruiting for a full‑time SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a supportive and inclusive school in Lincoln. This role is ideal for an experienced and compassionate individual who has previously supported pupils with SEMH and SEND needs.
The Role:- Supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Providing targeted support for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions
- Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
- Assisting the class teacher in adapting learning materials to meet individual needs
- Promoting a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment
- Have previous experience working with SEMH and SEND
- Be confident managing challenging behaviour calmly and consistently
- Be patient, resilient and empathetic
- Be available full‑time (Monday to Friday)
- Be passionate about supporting vulnerable learners to achieve their potential
