Doctor of Physical Therapy - University of OK Health Sciences Center

The program director of the Doctor of Physical Therapy program is responsible for visionary leadership, management and administration of the D.P.T. program in collaboration with the Department Chair, Vice Chair and other program directors.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Background:
Is a physical therapist and holds a license to practice as a PT in Oklahoma.

Education:

Earned doctorate or has been determined by The Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education to meet the 2006 evaluative criteria and has received an exemption.

Experience:

Minimum of six years of full-time higher education experience, with a minimum of three years of full-time experience in a physical therapist education program.

The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences houses four academic programs including two professional programs, D.P.T., O.T.D. and two post-professional programs (Doctor of Science and Ph.D.).
