The Section of Pediatric Hospital Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible pediatricians to join our growing team as we expand services to care for Oklahomas children. We are looking for clinicians with strong clinical skills who enjoy working with diverse and medically complex patients and who value collaboration within an academic environment that includes medical students, residents, and fellows.
ClinicalEnvironment
Clinical practice is based at Oklahoma Childrens Hospital, a freestanding, not-for-profit 348-bed tertiary care childrens hospital with approximately 14,000 annual admissions. The hospital offers comprehensive subspecialty support, including:
Pediatric Emergency Department
PICU, CVICU, and NICU
Opportunities for moonlighting are available. The section will also provide consultative support to a new 72-bed inpatient Behavioral Health Center opening December 2026.
Position Details- Clinical shifts include day, night, and transfer center admitting officer coverage
- Academic faculty appointment through the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine
- Regular teaching interaction with medical students, residents, and fellows
- PHM board certification not required, though welcomed
- Competitive base salary with quarterly RVU incentives and annual quality bonus
