Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $ per year

Expected hours: 7 Nights On and 7 Nights Off from 7pm to 7am

  • Manage and care for patients during overnight hours.
  • Evaluate and diagnose patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies as needed.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and monitoring of patients.
  • Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide updates on patient status and coordinate care.
  • Supervise, oversee, and provide feedback on residents and advance practitioners.
  • Document patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, pharmacists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and hospital performance.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain competence and stay current with advances in medical knowledge and technology through continuing education.
Patient Assessment and Care
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests, to formulate accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Provide compassionate and evidence-based care to patients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
Treatment Planning and Implementation
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, tailoring interventions to meet individual patient needs.
  • Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, and interventions, and monitor their effectiveness.
Patient Education and Advocacy
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies to promote active participation in their healthcare journey.
  • Serve as an advocate for patients, ensuring their voice is heard and their preferences are considered in the care planning process.
  • Work closely with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment plans, and discharge planning.
Documentation and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate and thorough electronic health records, documenting assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and patient outcomes.
  • Provide timely and clear reports to the healthcare team, facilitating seamless communication and continuity of care.
