Overview

Virtual Tellers are responsible for greeting customers virtually and facilitating a welcoming and customer-focused environment. Duties also include processing customer transactions efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced virtual environment as well as maintaining and balancing a cash drawer and an interactive teller machine ("ITM") while adhering to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers virtually and provide a welcoming, customer-focused experience.
  • Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced virtual environment.
  • Maintain and balance a cash drawer and an interactive teller machine (ITM) in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Adhere closely to bank procedures and regulations.
Position Requirements
  • Full-time position — This position is onsite.
  • Candidates must possess PC skills with the ability to toggle between multiple systems, good typing skills, and a solid history of customer service including handling escalated, in-depth conversations.
  • Work hours:

    7am to 4pm shift, with rotating weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
  • Shift differential available for certain hours: $5.00/hour on Saturdays from 1pm to 6pm and Sundays from 12pm to 4pm.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 months of cash handling experience in a retail sales environment and/or previous banking experience.
  • Superior customer-service skills, including oral and written communication.
  • Ability to contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Careful attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong work ethic and high integrity.
  • Knowledge of banking products and procedures.
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
  • 30 wpm typing skills (preferred).
Preferred Skills
  • Previous experience in a customer service or call-center environment.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) skills are a plus; a bilingual assessment is required. If passed, additional $2.00 per hour.
