RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide guidance, direction, and leadership to a group of designers, driving performance to meet operational objectives
- Design and produce graphics for print and digital advertisements, flyers, logos, invitations, brochures, magazines, white papers, e‑mails, promotional displays, fillable PDF forms, PowerPoint templates, webinars, Word docs, direct mail, posters signage, video graphics, website pages, newsletters, journals, corporate reports and other miscellaneous collateral materials
- Provide design direction and strategy for multiple projects
- Develop branding guidelines and templates to insure consistent corporate identity
- Collaborate with team members and managers across interdepartmental teams
- Manage vendor relationships with printers to negotiate on cost, select appropriate paper and press checks
- Create digital press ready files
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in design, art or other related field or equivalent years of experience in graphic design
- Expert level familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Highly‑proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat)
- Experience in both print and website design
- Must provide a link to a portfolio or samples of work that demonstrates graphic design skills
- Prior experience leading graphic design projects or teams or completion of a leadership development program
Experience:
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Java Script
- Working knowledge of video editing or motion graphics
- Ability to illustrate
- Ability to give and receive constructive criticism
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to complete projects on time and meet deadlines
- Ability to multitask with multiple projects
- Ability to sketch and grasp concepts
- Working knowledge of typography
- Ability to take ownership of projects
