Estimator, Construction, Building & Residential Construction

Our client is a well-established commercial general contractor specializing in large-scale projects of $10 million and above across the medical, retail, K-12, and higher education sectors. They are seeking an experienced estimator to join their team and play a key role in the bidding and preconstruction process.

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for medical, retail, K-12, and higher education construction projects.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project scope to determine material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate pricing.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to secure pricing.
• Identify potential risks and cost-saving opportunities in project planning.
• Present estimates and proposals to senior leadership and clients as needed.
• Stay up to date material costs, and industry regulations.

• 4+ years of experience in estimating for commercial construction projects.
• Proven track record of estimating on projects in medical, retail, K-12, multifamily or higher education.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in estimating software
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
