Reporting to the West Director of Sales, the Division Sales Manager (DSM) is responsible for providing leadership and direction to a team of municipal and industrial front line sellers and inside sellers, driving performance accountability through use of performance management tools. The DSM ensures top talent is deployed to maximize customer‑facing activities and manages and measures performance using KPI’s, instituting countermeasures and developing performance improvement plans.
This position is part of the Commercial Sales Team in North America and is remote. The role may be based in Kansas, Oklahoma, Western Missouri, Arkansas, Nebraska, Western Iowa, or Northern Texas. DSMs typically visit customers on the road Tue–Thu and the Division Sales Manager will travel as scheduling allows to support regional sales managers. Overall, the role requires approximately 75% travel within the territory alongside their sellers.

- Measuring performance against critical KPIs within the division
- Traveling with sellers to coach and develop both skills and opportunities with customers
- Translating strategic objectives within the West and greater NA sales org into tactical actions for the sellers
- Forecasting sales performance and maintaining funnel review rigor throughout the periods
- Problem solving and linking resources within the organization to the sellers who need them
- Entrepreneurial in nature with both strategic and tactical dimension and capabilities demonstrated through using data analytics to analyze current business climate, market dynamics, and industry trends to devise a winning sales strategy
- Proven track record of utilizing collaborative selling techniques to deliver sales growth, customer expansion and market share growth
- Demonstrated experience in building engagement across an openness in-person and virtual sales team, while recruiting, retaining, and cultivating top sales talent
- Affinity for developing sales talent through coaching, mentoring and proactively finding opportunities for associates to achieve career progression
- Drive standard work development and process improvement through utilizing VES
- Strong financial, bottom‑line orientation
- Excellent analytical skills and solid business acumen with ability to balance the needs of the marketplace with metavar business judgment
- Willingness to travel the 75% of the time within the assigned territory
