Competitive compensation package of minimum $19.00 – Maximum $24.00.

- Perform routine and non‑routine maintenance on Class 8 trucks and pickups.
- Replace light bulbs, fuses, lenses, wiper blades, belts, hoses, batteries; check fluid levels; change fluids and filters; lubricate components.
- Perform minor mechanical repairs under moderate supervision.
- Document all maintenance work, parts, and supplies; ensure accurate work orders.
- Carry out preventative maintenance (PM’s) and safety/annual inspections at prescribed intervals.
- Notify supervisor of potentially dangerous equipment and corrective actions.
- Evaluate completed work before release and seek required approvals.
- Adhere to Transdev standards, policies, and procedures.
- Move vehicles safely between job and work area; repair and maintain shop equipment.
- Clean vehicles as requested or required.
- Perform other responsibilities as requested.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
- Class B CDL with air‑brake endorsement preferred.
- Beginner mechanical aptitude and 1 year of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred) or equivalent education/experience.
- Knowledge of state DOT motor‑vehicle inspection and safety standards.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe tool inventory.
- Subject to DOT drug testing and physical; DOT 49 CFR Part 40 prohibits Schedule I drugs.
- Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions—100 % outdoors, often alone and in remote locations.
- Sit for extended periods (up to 6‑8 hours/day); walk long distances on uneven or slippery surfaces.
- Push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs.; bend, kneel, or crouch as needed.
- Endure heavy traffic, dust, fumes, and noise.
