This position is responsible for performing a variety of duties for the Division, including assisting the Dean, faculty, and staff with program needs, handling telephone, email and guest inquiries and following up on general information and other program-related matters; supporting the Division Assistant as needed or requested; and assisting with data collection and entry, records maintenance, and general communication from the division office.

Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma/ GED
- Minimum (2) years’ work experience in an office environment
- Knowledge: Office practices and equipment
- Microsoft Office 365 or similar software
- Skills: Managing multiple priorities
- Professional communication, both verbally and in writing
- Abilities: Work independently, follow directions, and meet deadlines
- Learn new skills as needed to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Relate to and communicate effectively with OCCC student, faculty, and staff population
- Complete tasks with attention to accuracy and detail
- The work is light work and may require occasionally lifting up to 20 pounds; perform tasks requiring movement around the Division Office and campus
- Frequently move about the Division Office and campus to perform essential functions
- Frequently communicate with and listen to students, faculty, staff, administration, and others to perform essential functions; must exchange accurate information
- Work is performed in a relatively safe, secure, and indoor office setting
- Work is performed during a normal office schedule as determined by the needs of the Division
- Associate degree
- Minimum (2) years’ full-time work experience in an office environment at an institution of higher education
- Quarterly compliance training as assigned by institution
- Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm according to the needs of the division
