Make a difference as a Accounts PayableAs a Full-Time Accounts Payable Specialist at Price Edwards & Company, you will leverage your proficiency in accounting software, particularly YARDI Systems, to manage financial transactions efficiently. Your key responsibilities will include compiling and sorting documents, coding invoices for payment, and ensuring timely and accurate bill payments. You'll collaborate closely with property management and accounting staff to streamline workflow while handling vendor communications concerning outstanding invoices.
The role requires strong Excel skills and the ability to multi-task effectively in a team-oriented environment. Additionally, you’ll be involved in various accounting and finance projects as directed by supervisors and are expected to complete all required Safety Training. Other duties may be assigned as needed, providing a dynamic work experience that contributes to your professional growth.
What you need to be successfulTo excel as a Full-Time Accounts Payable Specialist at Price Edwards & Company, you must possess strong proficiency in Excel to handle financial data efficiently. Familiarity with YARDI Systems is highly preferred, as this software will be integral to your daily tasks. A keen eye for detail is essential for compiling and sorting documents, coding invoices accurately, and reconciling bills for timely payments.
Additionally, effective communication skills are necessary for collaborating with property management and accounting staff and for engaging vendors regarding outstanding invoices.
Success in this role also requires the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a customer-focused approach. Being a team player and demonstrating a willingness to adapt to new accounting projects will further enhance your effectiveness in this position.
