As a Senior Tax Accountant, your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Preparing and reviewing individual, partnership, corporate, and trust tax returns in a timely and accurate manner.
- Providing tax planning and compliance services to clients across various industries.
- Researching and resolving complex tax issues.
- Assisting with federal, state, and local tax audits.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Collaborating with team members to improve client service and efficiency.
- Providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
To be considered for this position, you must possess
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in tax accounting.
- CPA or EA certification is highly preferred.
- Proven experience with Corporate Tax Returns, State and Local Tax, Federal & State Tax, and Tax Preparation.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A commitment to providing exceptional service to clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
