Senior Financial Accountant

The Senior Financial Accountant will be hands-on in month-end close, public company reporting, audit prep, and strengthening controls and processes as the business continues to grow.

• Play a hands-on role in the month-end close and financial reporting process, including preparation of GAAP journal entries
• Own and maintain fixed asset roll forwards, ensuring accuracy from capitalization through depreciation and reconciliation
• Develop and maintain internal controls documentation, including narratives, process flows, and supporting schedules
• Prepare and manage external audit schedules and PBC support, serving as a key contact during audits
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and detailed financial statement analysis
• Support financial statement footnotes and audit-related research
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis as needed
• Research technical accounting topics and support updates to accounting policies and procedures
• Continuously improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation
• Support special projects and ad hoc initiatives

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or active CPA candidate strongly preferred
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Public company accounting experience is required
• Previous public audit experience with a Big 4 or large national firm is highly preferred
• Experience at the Senior Audit Associate level or higher is a plus
• Proven experience with fixed asset accounting, controls documentation, and external audit schedule preparation
