Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for performing installation, maintenance and repairs across buildings, facilities, grounds, electrical systems, and equipment, ensuring clean and safe operations throughout the STOF Housing residential facilities of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The incumbent in this position will be responsible for performing skilled electrical tasks in accordance with standard electrical trade practices. Duties include working independently with considerable latitude in determining methods of work and using specialized tools and testing instruments of the electrical trade.

Assignments may be verbal or consist of sketches, blueprints and electrical diagrams. Employees are frequently assisted by various skilled and unskilled trades' helpers who assist in various phases of electrical work. High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required. Electrician License/certification valid for the State of Florida is required. A minimum of one (1) year of experience working as a skilled electrician or related field and a minimum of one (1) year of experience working in the maintenance and repair of buildings & grounds is required.

Any equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered. Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel to all Reservations and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
