The Golf Instructor is responsible for developing and executing a successful teaching and player development program for resort guests, club members and group lessons. This position will also provide support for all program initiatives of the Ojai Valley Inn as well as specialized events. Status as a PGA Class “A” member is preferred with a proven history of offering the highest quality instruction in a service-driven environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage and lead all aspects of a successful instruction and coaching program to include private lessons, group clinics and specialized events
• Implement player development programs designed to enhance the overall service environment and produce additional revenue sources
• Work with in-house group clients to offer and oversee creative instructional services for attendees
• Offer individualized instruction and tailored group programs for club members
• Maintain accurate records of lesson schedules and revenue generation
• Utilize the latest technology for enhanced instruction services
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity while providing unmatched service consistent with the culture and expectations of the Ojai Valley Inn
• PGA Class “A” member in good standing preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Previous experience leading a proven instructional program at a high-level resort or private club
• Ability to work as part of a team to integrate seamlessly with all golf operations staff as well as other departments of the Ojai Valley Inn where applicable
