Overview

Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, House Supervisor or Emergency Department Physician, provides care to the Emergency Department patient and obtains/transmits demographic data to other hospital departments.

Salary Range: $22.05 - $28.20 per hour. Pay for PRN positions is calculated differently than Full-Time, Regular Part-Time, and Part-Time positions. PRN rates depend on the position and other factors, including years of experience or shift commitment according to department policy. PRN differential is added in certain positions.

Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Current EMT Certification for EMT
• Current BLS Certification

Preferred

• Previous experience as an EMT, Nursing Assistant, Nursing Student or Emergency Department/Admitting Clerk
