The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing daily warehouse operations in support of production and distribution objectives. This role directs activities related to receiving, stocking, replenishment, inventory control, material movement within the manufacturing facility, and outbound shipping to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient flow of goods. The Warehouse Supervisor needs to be a results‑oriented leader with a strong operational knowledge of warehouse and manufacturing support processes.
This individual will foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement while ensuring adherence to company policies, safety regulation, and performance expectation.
This position supports operations year‑round. During peak season, the schedule and daily hours fluctuate based on business demand and may include evenings, weekends and extended shifts. During peak season schedules are more regular and predictable.
- Non‑peak season:
Monday – Friday, Regular shift 7 am – 4 pm; occasional weekend work may be required based on business needs - Peak Season:
Workdays and hours vary based on business demands; may include weekends and extended shifts. Employees must be available for variable hours and days as workload increases.
- Participate in recruitment, development, training and retention of warehouse team
- Direct the day to day flow and activities of the warehouse including:
- receiving of inbound inventory
- staging, stocking and replenishment of inventory to warehouse locations
- inventory control and accuracy
- shipping of outbound inventory
- Supervise the warehouse team and monitor their production and work habits, serving as coach and mentor to meet peak performance
- Maintain a clean and organized work and warehouse environment that meets safety standards
- Monitor warehouse performance, operating costs and ensure company standards of excellence are met
- Coordinate preventative maintenance for forklifts and other equipment in warehouse operations
- Communicate with other Supervisors and Leads to facilitate efficient operations across all departments
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehouse administration or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to operate and maintain warehouse equipment (Forklift, Scissor lifts).
- Proficiency in moving heavy loads and understanding of inventory management.
- Good manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment.
