Senior Logistics Data Analyst – Transportation (Westerville, OH)

Vertiv is seeking a results-driven Senior Logistics Data Analyst to power transportation performance across the Americas. In this role, you’ll turn freight spend, carrier performance, and service-level data into actionable insights that drive cost savings, service improvements, and operational efficiency. This is a hands‑on, data‑first role at the center of transportation strategy, perfect for someone who thrives on analysis, optimization, and cross‑functional impact.

What

You’ll Do
  • Analyze and consolidate logistics data (freight spend, carrier performance, service levels, transit) to develop and track KPIs.
  • Optimize LLP performance through data analysis, process mapping, documentation, and actionable insights.
  • Manage carrier performance, identifying opportunities to improve cost, capacity, service, and delivery.
  • Leverage TMS to ensure accurate data flow, reporting, and process automation across logistics workflows.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams (Logistics, Procurement, Operations, Master Data) to standardize processes and improve visibility.
  • Document transportation processes and create reporting frameworks to support operational initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Experience: 3–5 years in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations, including domestic and international transportation.
  • Logistics Data Analysis: 3–5 years analyzing freight spend, carrier KPIs, service metrics, and operational data.
  • Tools & Systems: 3+ years using data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) and TMS for reporting and integration.
  • Process & Carrier Knowledge: Hands‑on experience with carrier management, freight operations, and logistics procurement processes.
  • Process Mapping: Experience with process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting a Lead Logistics Provider (LLP) model.
  • Project management experience with cross‑functional logistics initiatives.
  • Lean or continuous improvement experience.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder training skills.
  • Spanish language proficiency.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvement and change initiatives.
