Bus Driver
Base Salary & Incentives$23.21/hr includes $2,000 paid in two installments during the first year for new driver training. $500 finder’s fee paid after six months for employee referrals.
Requirements- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Ohio driver’s license
- Class B CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsements
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work shifts assigned
Successful prior work experience required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Transport authorized students to and from school and extracurricular activities.
- Obey all safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Maintain discipline and enforce bus regulations.
- Inspect bus before and after operation; report mechanical problems.
- Report student misconduct and accidents in a timely manner.
- Keep bus clean and maintain assigned schedule.
- Pick up and discharge students only at authorized stops.
Stand, walk, use hands to reach, crouch, kneel, stoop, lift up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally. Required to sit, talk, hear, see, read, and move arms and hands frequently.
Work EnvironmentThe noise level is usually moderate to loud. The environment involves regular travel and interaction with students, parents, and staff.

- Read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondences, and memos.
- Write routine reports and documents.
- Respond to common inquiries or complaints from the school community.
- Present information to administration, staff, and public groups.
- Sit and stand for prolonged periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
