Job SummaryTo ensure yard operation efficiency, quality and safety by assisting drivers to help locate vehicles, checking vehicles for damage and ensuring drivers are operating in a safe manner.
Hours are 12pm to 6pm, Monday through Friday
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Shuttle drivers between yards, office and bay locations.
- Inspect cargo units and verify damage; inspect Company equipment; provide guidance to drivers.
- Assist operations team in a variety of capacities to support daily operations.
- Maintain company vehicle by ensuring it is serviced regularly such as oil changes, fueling, and having van washed as needed.
- Complete all other projects and duties as assigned.
- Valid Driver’s License that is record free from citations and/or violations.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, customers, and the general public.
- Strong ability to multi-task and work unsupervised at times
