Location: Wright-Patterson AFB
Duties The primary purpose of this position is: as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) to perform technical and administrative analytical work of planning, development and implementation of Airlift Missions, transportation requirements to assure safe, expeditious domestic and international transportation of high-level officials and their staff to meet critical, sensitive diplomatic, military and domestic requirements. Develops and executes monthly aircraft mission schedules and training reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.
Duties: 1:
Manages air transportation for both CONUS and OCONUS cargo and/or passenger movement. Coordinates and disseminates Higher Head Quarters (HHQ) Current Operations-directed mission changes for missions in execution phase. 2:
Responsible for accomplishing all aspects of aircrew and aircraft support for assigned missions. Calculates flight and fuel planning, ground times, flying times, and loading criteria. Determines aircrew ground training by reviewing aircrew currency documents. 3:
Supports assigned missions by reviewing various databases and other sources of weather, itinerary, equipment and passenger information. 4:
Develops quarterly flying schedule from annual flying requirements. Requirements Conditions of employment

* AFSC:1C072 Qualifications In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, BASIC REQUIREMENT:
Undergraduate and Graduate
Education:
Major study - accounting, business administration, business or commercial law, commerce, economics, engineering, finance, industrial management, statistics, traffic management, transportation, motor mechanics, nautical science, marine affairs, marine engineering, marine transportation, or other fields related to the position. For Marine Transportation Specialist positions, education obtained in a Federal, State, or other accredited Merchant Marine Academy is qualifying. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: SPECIALIZED
EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-07, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes Knowledge of Air Force transportation management policies, procedures to interpret operations policies, procedures, and guidelines, particularly pertaining to supported aircraft. Practical knowledge of air transportation operations, practices, and policies to develop, integrate, and coordinate air transportation to meet user requirements.
Knowledge of special requirements for transporting dignitaries, and activities of aircrews conducting international flying operations. Knowledge of mission scheduling and itinerary development.
NOTE:
Must be reflected in your resume. OR master's or equivalent graduate degree. OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. OR LL.B. or J.D., if related FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS:
Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-07 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-09 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
NOTE:
